Nov. 19th CW Gala Just 6 weeks away, 50% of Tickets Sold, Join Us!!!!!

The annual CW Gala Fun(d)raiser takes place Thursday, November 19, 2026 at the Bard & Banker. Please join us!!! The evening includes: 

• Drinks and standing food service included in the ticket price
• Doors open at 5:30 pm, food service at 6pm, events begin at 6:45 pm
• All attendees who are present in the evening are eligible for a 1-week trip for two, via business-class airfare, to London, England (hotel included), as well as a pair of tickets to two rugby matches.
• The first ever presentation of the Brent Johnston Award!
• The Live auction includes a trip for 10 to a luxury villa in France, an in-home chef, a fishing adventure in Haida Gwaii and a custom suit from Straith’s Fine Clothing
• The Silent auction includes Prince of Whales - Watching, Butchart Gardens Extravangas, and AdrenaLINE Zipline Adventure Tours
• 100% of the proceeds from the event go to CW initiatives!
• Tickets are $275 per person. Groups of 10 tickets at $2,500.

Why does CW hold the fundraiser dinner?

As a single event, this is CW’s most important source of funds. Without the dinner, dues for our 500+ player members would increase by more than 100%. We believe keeping dues reasonable helps keep the game broadly accessible. The gala allows community connections to be forged and rekindled, in a way that few other CW events do.
